BSL visual thinking workshops for 2010 (full details on events page)

Signforward is pleased to introduce the concept of visual thinking workshops. This workshop is designed to help participants to think in a visual way, this enables a more fluid and “native” use of BSL. The workshop can help participants to use BSL in a more creative way which is invaluable in interpreting situations such as theatre, drama and many other day to day scenarios. The workshop will benefit participants in their use of BSL on both a personal and professional level. The course has been designed by some of the leading Deaf trainers many of whom work at Universities in the UK and abroad.

The workshop was a resounding success with lots of positive and extremely valuable feedback from the participants. The workshop participants took on board a wealth of working knowledge of International Sign, and concluded that their BSL also benefitted from the new skills they obtained. Some even wanted to attend more advanced workshops in the future - we are planning to run 'BSL visual thinking' workshops, which will be running from January 2010.
