Deaf Awareness Training Course
Are you a company or organisation? Are you aware that 9 million people in the UK
are deaf or hard of hearing? Want to ensure all your employees are trained in
deaf awareness? Do you know how to ensure that your deaf customers and employees
are treated as fairly, equally and inclusively as possible?
We provide stimulating and inspiring professional training sessions supported by
top quality educational materials. These can be delivered in conjunction with a
tailored BSL course if required.
We are happy to provide the course at your business location or chosen venue, or
suggest/provide alternatives for you. Times and dates will be agreed to meet
your requirements. In order to derive the maximum benefit from the training, we
recommend a full day (6 hours) for a group of approximately 10 people. Half day
(3 hour) sessions are also available if time is pressured or for groups with
fewer participants.
The course is designed to equip participants with hands-on skills they can put
to use in addition to information on how to be deaf-aware. A range of
activities, discussion sessions, group and pair work will engage the training
groups throughout the sessions. The dynamic and interactive nature of our course
